Spurs Game Is Huge Says Ferguson!

It hasn't been one of United's greatest seasons in terms of performances but nevertheless we are still just 2 points behind leaders Man City with a 13th Premier League title well within our grasp.

Tottenham have made great strides over recent years under Harry Redknapp and Sir Alex Ferguson believes United will have a big chance of retaining the Premier League title if they can 'survive' Sunday's trip to Tottenham and vc bet agrees.

It has been an extremely difficult run of fixtures for United and Ferguson always felt a six-week run of fixtures from mid-January onwards would hold the key to United's hopes of a record 20th championship.

Victories over Arsenal and Liverpool, plus a point collected from a trip to Chelsea when United found themselves three goals down in the second half, have left them two behind leaders Manchester City, who have, on paper, had a significantly easier time.

The roles will be reversed after this weekend however when after City host second bottom Bolton, they have a run of difficult fixtures themselves, which means that their is a real possibility that the derby on 30th April at the Etihad stadium will be very significant.

"It's going to be a massive game [at Spurs]," Ferguson told Inside United.

"If we can survive that one, then we'll have a big chance of winning the league.

"I would take it [being two points behind City going into the game at the Etihad Stadium]. I would rather go there on level points.

"But if we could go there within striking distance of being top of the league, I'd take it."

It is a huge game four United at White Hart Lane where stan james betting are predicting a draw, but there's no doubt that United will be looking for the win!
