Rooney Inspired By Fergie

Sir Alex Ferguson is in his 26th year as Manchester United manager and Wayne Rooney has been speaking of the great man and how he is key to Manchester United retaining their Premier League title.

Ferguson has transformed United into the most successful club in England of the last two decades, steering the club to an impressive haul of major honours including 12 championships since joining in 1986 as the bwin review shows!

Now with the emergence of cash rich noisy neighbors City, who are currently top of the Premier League, the title is expected to go down to the wire according to stanjames odds, but Wayne Rooney insists that United still hold the edge over City, and that edge is Sir Alex Ferguson.

"He is a great manager," Rooney told Fifa's official website. "He knows which players he can speak to and which players he can shout at, if he needs to.

"He knows how the players react and how to get the best out of them. That's important especially in this day and age.

"His mentality for the game, his commitment and desire are obviously things that the players try and take on themselves.

"For me personally, he's been brilliant. He is a great leader for our team.

"We are only a couple of points behind and we have a lot of games to go. We are confident that we can push on now, and start being a bit more consistent towards the end of the season."
